Longboard This Week at an Upcoming Community Session

The Calgary Longboard Club hosts regular weekly community sessions focused on a range of skating styles and skill levels, making longboarding and slopestyle accessible to all. Each session is grassroots, family-friendly, and led by trusted community members who host and teach in a welcoming, supportive environment.

  • For updates on the rare cancellations or location changes, follow the Calgary Longboard Club on Instagram and check story posts regularly leading up to the session time.

  • Each sessions strictly requires a helmet to participate. Slide gloves are also highly recommended for wrist protection and for learning how to safely slide to a stop.

  • All sessions are open to all ages, backgrounds, and identities. The community actively looks out for one another to keep the space safe, respectful, and inclusive for all.

  • The longboarding season runs from the last snow to the first. Surprise dry spells sometimes mean bonus sessions — follow the Instagram to stay in the loop!
